Notes to Contributors:

1. Submissions lodged by e-mail should include a title, abstract, author's name, and institutional affiliation. Including in the subject line of your e-mail submission the proposed title of your essay/paper will help us parse spam from legitimate inquiries. Manuscripts attached to e-mail submissions should be saved in the MSWord .doc format. Manuscripts pasted into the e-mail body are also acceptable.

2. Our aim is to attract critical reflections on communication practices and theories in areas of the social sciences and arts. Cross-disciplinary approaches are also very much welcomed but not sole criteria for selection.

3. Managing Editors maintain the right to edit submissions in accord with minor recommendations of referees through blind reviews. Authors are consulted only if substantive and/or substantial editing is necessary.

4. Copyrights remain vested in the contributors themselves who are exclusively responsible for ensuring that source materials appearing in their submissions are used with permission or proper reference.

5. Contributors are advised that any portions of their own material subsequently introduced in other publications will reference "Synæsthesia" as the original source of publication.

6. Please abide by guidance on offer in the Fifth Edition of the APA's Publication Manual.

7. Please use endnotes instead of footnotes.

8. Please contact a Managing Editor for guidance regarding the submission and format of any images associated with your manuscript.

9. Please maintain a 7000-word limit in manuscripts - including abstract, notes and references.
