His academic training at Marist College, Colombia University, and Universität des Saarlandes has afforded him opportunities to lecture in various areas, including medieval philosophy, ancient western philosophy, ethics, logic, and philosophy of education. His research, presentations, and publications focus on the ethical dimensions of health care and the practices of medicine.
