Synæsthesia is a refereed international review that aims to unravel problems of communication from the subjective-embodied to the objective, from the interpersonal to the mass-marketed, from the regional to the global, from the academic to the corporate, between genders and across time.

New perspectives on theories and practices are welcomed.

Editors seek work rigorous in its scholarship yet accessible in its style to audiences somewhat wider than highly trained specialists in areas of communication, media studies, semiotics, rhetoric, education, or literature.

Papers accepted for publication in the online journal will receive subsequent consideration for the publication of future collected and bound volumes.
